The Federation of Canadian Electrolysis Associations

The FCEA was founded and registered in 1982 and became a fully official entity in 1986.

Mission

The Federation of Canadian Electrolysis Associations is a non-profit, federally chartered corporation dedicated to promoting professionalism and education in the field of permanent hair removal.

Our mission is to:

  • Unite electrologists across Canada
  • Protect the electrolysis trade
  • Raise the standard of practice by establishing a recognized acceptance of a higher minimum standard for our industry

Foundation

The FCEA foundation is based on:

  • Continuing education
  • An opportunity to achieve designation
  • Networking among our members

Networking with fellow electrologists who are committed to and proud of their profession, is the only way to ensure the delivery of effective, safe, and professional care to those we serve –our clients. Only a professional association of peers can achieve this end.

Objectives

Our continued objectives & goals are:

  • To self regulate and promote higher standards pertaining to electrolysis and the electrologist.
  • To set a minimum standard for electrolysis training and the profession in Canada.
  • To unite electrologists in Canada and to nationally promote the electrologists and the electrolysis profession.
  • To raise the status of Canadian Electrologists
  • To assist the provincial associations/societies/chapters in providing further education to their member
